One day, me and my friends Sam and Aran decided to play in the park with our laser guns. “I bet i beat you both” said Aran.

“We’ll see shall we!” I replied cheekily back.

“Yes we will” said Sam. All three of us put on our laser jackets, then ran to hide so our game could begin. Quickly i managed to spot Aran, who was wearing a bright orange jacket, and slowly crept up behind him but as the leaves rustled Aran spun around and shouted “Who’s that?”

I quickly aimed my gun and shot Aran over and over again,then run for cover behind some bushes and a log.

All i had to do to win the game was find Sam and give him the same treatment but where was he?

Suddenly from nowhere Sam jumped out of the bushes and aimed his gun to shoot  me but he did not see the log and tripped over and crashed to the floor, i jumped up and shot him too, over and over again.

“I’m the winner” i shouted, Aran and Sam walked towards me and both said “cheat” as they were bad losers and we headed home.

“We are going to get your new football boots for the final today’ said my mum.

 

I was finally getting my smart black, sparkly football boots,

 

“Mum I am so excited” I said.

 

I tried my boots on and they were perfect, it was now time to get to my big match Ryan F.C versus Potters Bar.

 

The match kicked off on time. The players from Ryan F.C looked so much bigger and were faster than us none of my team mates could keep up with them.  It wasn’t long before we were 4-0 down.

 

“What’s the matter with you all” my manager screamed at half time “Get on with the game”.

 

I looked down at my boots and whispered “Please come on we need to win”.

 

The game kicked off.  I began tackling, running faster than ever before my boots appeared better and were controlling my feet.  Before I knew it we were drawing and had two minutes to go.

 

I was given a penalty.  There was silence in the stadium, as the leaves were rustling I took a kick at the goal.

 

“Goal” everyone shouted.  We had won.  I looked down at my boots.

 

“Could they be magic?” I asked.

One day me and my friend, Henry went for a walk in the forest. Henry said “lets jump in the leaves”, I thought this sounded like fun.

 

We walked over to the biggest pile of leaves we could find, “wow there’s so many” I said.

 

We decided to play hide and seek in the leaves, Henry was first and I started to count, “One, two, three” all the way to ten. When I opened my eyes Henry was gone, “ready or not” I shouted!

 

I looked everywhere, under the leaves, behind the trees he was nowhere, but as the leaves rustled I saw him. “I see you” I said and I ran over to the leaves as fast as I could and Henry jumped out “I thought you would never find me” he laughed. 134

 

Now it was my turn to hide and Henrys to count, I decided to hide behind a massive tree. I heard Henry shout “ten, coming ready or not” and I froze. Before long he had found me, it wasn’t a good hiding place!

 

Henry and I started to feel cold, ‘fancy going for a hot chocolate Nick?’ Henry said, “yes lets go”.

 

“Yum, Yum” we said.
