Year 3 had a fantastic workshop this morning. They looked at a modern map of Hertfordshire to show the legacy of the Anglo Saxons; eg place names ending in ‘ford’ showing it was by a river crossing. The boys were also given the opportunity to handle and investigate authentic and replica artefacts; the helmet was a particular hit!

Mrs Bennett kindly came back to Year 3 on Wednesday 21 January to share her knowledge of Judaism. The boys learnt about the importance of Shabbat and were given the opportunity to taste some Challah, it was delicious! Thank you Mrs Bennett; come again soon!
